Construction of a new modern standalone 6th form centre (maths & science theory facility) at Loreto College. The works comprised of a three storey, structural steel frame building with concrete upper floors, masonry cladding, metsec inner walls and a single ply roof membrane. A feature of the building is the architectural stone surrounds to the windows. The project provides 17 classrooms and new amenity areas for students and staff which are fitted out to the highest standards of quality.
Internally our scope of works involved installation of all mechanical and electrical services, data caballing, air-conditioning and a lift serving all 3 floors. The works were undertaken on a live campus and our main focus was to carry out the work with minimum disruption to students and staff studying and working in the existing buildings.
In addition we constructed a new entrance and reception for the college’s Chichester Road South campus.
“The overall project was a success, the client and professional team are very happy with CPUK’s performance.”
