A key objective of the business is the on-going development of all staff and to this end, regular Performance and Development reviews are held to assess training needs. We aim to provide a continuous learning and development environment and an extensive range of courses are available, in-house and external, together with one to one mentoring and coaching. We encourage development from within and at any given time will have a number of trainees attending college on a day release basis studying for NVQ’s and Degrees.

Year end appraisals are undertaken to ascertain the effectiveness of training and to ensure that individual targets and objectives have been met. All training is undertaken with a view to improving our service to our customers.

The investment we make in our staff has shown in our staff retention; many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years and have risen through the ranks by taking advantage of our training opportunities and our policy to promote from within wherever possible.
