We love what we do | Construction Visit for Nursery Children

29th April 2019

Children from the Early Years Acadamy enjoyed an afternoon of planting with our team on Thursday 18th April.

The Early Years Academy is right next door to our student accommodation scheme which is currently under construction in Coventry. To get the children involved, our site donated some materials, hard hats, a wheelbarrow and some planting materials for a corner to be transformed into a planting corner for the children.

We thought as a little surprise we would bring our CPUK JCB Digger to inspire their minds and hopefully encourage the future generation into this wonderful industry of ours. The children spent the afternoon dressed up in hard hats and hi-vis jackets and helped the site team plant up the hard hats, wheelbarrow and plant plots with some colourful plants and flowers.

A big thank you to our neighbours, the Early Years Acadamy, for letting us spend the afternoon inspiring the little ones.

Safe to say the children did a fantastic job!

Claire Baughan, Nursery Manager said ” I would just like to say a big thank you to you all for the time you gave our children. The children had a lovely time planting the flowers and are enjoying using the watering can to water them. They also had a wonderful time on the digger.

All our parents have commented on how lovely the Nursery is looking!

We sent over a little thank you card to site. It is nice to have a great relationship with our neighbours!”
